Just some background about me.
I was born and grew up in Cuba, where I joined Cuba’s National Theater as its youngest company member at the age of 16. In 1960 I moved to the United States to study Drama at the University of Minnesota and later, Languages at L.A. City College, Music at the Juilliard School of Music, Voice at the University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music and later, at the New England Conservatory of Music, in Boston, from which I received my Master’s degree in Music. Some years later my wife, Kimberly and I founded New Theatre in Coral Gables, Florida, where we produced and staged twenty seasons of classical and contemporary theater. I now live, write and teach in Cincinnati.
