In an effort to divulge the work of so many hard-working, resourceful, inventive, imaginative creative artists, included below is a listing of performances one can catch on line. Many of these are free. Some require for one to buy-in the way one buys a ticket to a play or a modern dance or ballet performance or a concert.

MET OPERA – Nightly Met Opera Streams (https://www.metopera.org/user-information/nightly-met-opera-streams Each day, a different encore presentation from the company’s Live in HD series is being made available for free on the Met website, with each performance available for a period of 23 hours, from 7:30 p.m. EDT until 6:30 p.m. the following day. The schedule will include outstanding complete performances from the past 14 years of cinema transmissions.

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts (http://lincolncenter.org/lincoln-center-at-home/)

The eight performing arts and educational organizations that make up Lincoln Center each have their unique mission and policies.

A quick survey of Lincoln Center’s Film Society, Jazz, New York City Ballet, NY Philharmonic, Juilliard, and Chamber Music will reveal which organizations offer, ranging from $25 for a ten-film pass from the Film Society to a few freebies from Jazz at Lincoln Center.
