Pianist Ariadne Antipa at home playing Mozart and Babadjanian

Originally from the foothills of Northern California, Greek-American pianist Ariadne Antipa has won first place in numerous competitions. She has also performed extensively throughout the United States, Africa and Europe. Ariadne has a keen interest in Greek culture: as a member of the traditional Greek band, Oi Bounisi she plays the santouri and loves Greek folk dancing. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance at the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music under the mentorship of Ran Dank.

Music for All Seasons has presented a series of concerts in Cincinnati since 2016. Due to the current restrictions on public gatherings we have decided to present informal on-line mini-concerts featuring some of the musical artists that have performed in our concert series over the past several years. These are homemade videos created by the artists themselves with the sole purpose of sharing their talents and giving the gift of music during the crisis we are all enduring. We hope you will receive them in the same spirit by giving thanks to the artists and by sharing the music with friends.

Please enjoy Arriadne’s playing of Mozart Sonata in A Minor, K. 310, first movement,  Arno Babadjanian Prelude and Vagarshapat Dance
